Since Viju was established in 1998, our primary focus has been on having satisfied customers. This explains why the company has had a positive development during its twelve-year history.
 
Viju was founded under the name of Infoteknikk in 1998 by Geir Samonsen, Jostein Måsvær Vatne and Atle Aurdal. Right from the very start, our primary focus has been on having satisfied customers by providing quality at every stage. This strategy was pursued by managing our customer portfolio in a professional manner and by gradually attracting more and more talented, enthusiastic and reliable employees

In 2005 the results of this business model became evident: the financial results took a steady upward curve. This motivated the founders to seek new co-owners and board directors who could contribute to harnessing the growth opportunities that existed in the market. A new board was appointed in the autumn of 2006, and new co-owners emerged in the shape of the private equity fund Progressus AS. With a new board and new co-owners in place, Infoteknikk had a good financial and competence platform for carrying out its ambitious plans for organic and structural growth, and an ambitious growth strategy was worked out for the years ahead.
