Viju has supplied the video wall in the control room of Scandinavia’s largest thermal power plant.
Municipal waste turned into energy.Vestforbrændingen waste incineration plant in Denmark dates back to the 1970s and provides 46 per cent of Denmark’s heating needs.The goal is to increase this figure to 70 per cent in order to reach the reduction target for carbon emissions.The incinerators are monitored 24 hours a day using a software package that gathers and monitors data.
Viju replaced the previous-generation Barco rear-projection cubes with new 50” LED-lit cubes (EC-50-LSXT+) from Eyevis.In line with environmental targets, much of the existing structure and equipment was reused.Apart from the cubes, the only other hardware that was installed was Eyevis’ automatic colour correction unit.
